Builders merchants MKM Building Supplies has officially opened the doors of its 54th branch nationally with Louth the latest addition.
The new branch located on Tattershall Way in the Fairfield Industrial Estate in Louth opened for the first time on Monday, September 17.
It will be open between 7am and 5.30pm Monday-Friday and from 7.30am-12pm on Saturdays.
Louth is MKM’s third branch in Lincolnshire, with the others in Skegness and Lincoln and during the opening fortnight there will be free bacon butties for all visitors, along with competitions and financial incentives for those opening trade accounts.
This latest move for the UK’s largest independent builders merchants brings 16 jobs to the Lincolnshire market town with the store aiming to be a “one-stop shop” for trade and retail customers.
As well as a brick matching service, landscaping and joinery displays, the branch contains a drawing take-off and 3D design and planning services.
The Louth store also has kitchen and bathroom showrooms and there will be dedicated showroom specialists on hand to assist customers.
MKM Louth’s team of specialists will be headed up by Branch Directors Mark Thomas and Guy Robinson.
Mark said: “The team is looking forward to showing retail and trade customers what MKM is all about; exceptional customer service, highly competitive pricing and an enviable product range. We can only encourage those in Louth and the surrounding area to give us a try for their next building project.”
Guy added: “We’ve assembled a fantastic team here in Louth. Whether you’re from the trades or just in search of something for a DIY project, we’re thrilled to have the chance to strike up a great relationship.”
MKM, whose headquarters are based in Hull, was founded in 1995 and opened its 50th branch in 2017 and the firm is on track to hit a target of 100 by 2022.
