An Indian restaurant in Mablethorpe has been told it must arrange pest control after it was given a zero rating for food hygiene.
Khushi’s Contemporary Indian Cuisine on the High Street in Mablethorpe is being urged to make major improvements.
A food hygiene inspector visited the restaurant on August 1 before giving it a rating of zero out of a possible five.
The inspection found that major improvement was necessary to ensure that the building is clean and to check whether food being served is safe to eat.
As part of the recommendations the restaurant is being urged to use pest control, install ventilation and hand washing facilities.
The preparation, cooking and storage of food was also rated as ‘improvement necessary’ in the report.

As people prepare to go out more in the run up to Christmas, a Lincoln woman who created the globally renowned Ask For Angela not-for-profit scheme is proud to have made the county, and the world, a safer place.
The scheme, launched by Hayley Crawford (pictured above) in 2016, aims to ensure that anyone who is feeling vulnerable or unsafe is able to get the support they need. This could be on a night out, a date, meeting friends and other situations, and it is available to everyone of all genders to help them feel safer.
