Missing man found alive after drone and helicopter search

Additional help was given by other police forces

Missing man Stuart Hurt has now been found alive after the search was extended with additional help of officers from Leicester and Northamptonshire on Wednesday.

As previously reported, officers said they were increasingly concerned for the welfare of Stuart, who is in his 40s and from the New Bolingbroke area.

Searches were ongoing in the Woodhall Spa area by police helicopter, drones and by officers on foot since Monday, September 24.

During the afternoon of Wednesday, September 26 Lincolnshire Police issued a statement saying: “We can confirm Stuart has been found. Thanks everyone for your support.”
