Winds to strengthen across Lincolnshire

The current forecast for Lincolnshire.

Strong winds will batter parts of Lincolnshire today and tomorrow, but current predictions show the county will escape the worst of incoming Storm Ali.

A Met Office yellow weather warning is in place from tomorrow for much of the north and west of the UK. An amber warning is also now in place for Scotland.

Some parts of the country have been threatened with damaging 85 mph winds.

In Lincolnshire, wind speeds have already begun to gather pace, but the impact is not believed to be as severe at the time of writing.

By around 11am tomorrow, the wind speed in Lincolnshire will read around 22 mph. By around 2pm, the Met Office predicts this will pick up to 25mph with gusts of 46 mph.

Winds will begin to die down at around 7pm.
