Brant Road closure to make way for new housing

A stretch of Brant Road will be reduced to one lane to make way for two new housing developments.

Temporary traffic lights will be in place near the Station Road junction in Waddington from Monday, November 5 to Friday, November 9.

It will be closed to drivers while construction of new access roads for 61 new homes is underway.

Traffic lights will be in place for 24 hours each day and will be manually controlled at peak times.

As previously reported, Lindum Construction is building 51 affordable homes and work is expect to be completed by the summer of 2019.

The construction company has partnered with a TC Developments which is building a further ten homes in the same area.

It will avoid the need for multiple closures of the busy road, while workers develop an access road for both sites.
