The Lincolnshire Showground came alive with colour and music at the Lincs Indian Society’s annual Diwali celebrations.

Diwali is the Hindu festival of lights, symbolising the spiritual victory of light over darkness, good over evil and knowledge over ignorance.

The Lincs Indian Society is a growing Lincolnshire community of more than 72 families.

Their flagship Diwali celebrations have become bigger and better each November, featuring a formal lighting of the lamp, traditional cuisine and musical performances.
