Oh the irony! Rubbish dumped under ‘no fly tipping’ sign

“It’s getting a common problem all over the town”

A Gainsborough taxi driver has spoken out after seeing rubbish dumped directly under a “no fly tipping” sign.

In the pile of rubbish was a pram, hoover, bucket and a few other items near to a row of houses on Aisby Walk.

The taxi driver who took the picture on Wednesday, November 21 decided to post it online.

Others commented on the picture to say that the person who dumped it “probably can’t read” and “don’t understand what fly tipping means.”

Rick Warwick told Lincolnshire Reporter: “I work as a local taxi driver and I took the photograph today in Gainsborough.

“It’s getting a common problem all over the town as I see it on a regular basis. But this was by far the worst I’ve seen especially under the sign.”

Anyone who would like to report fly tipping to the council can do so on the West Lindsey District Council website.
