A teenager has been charged with two offences after an alleged robbery in the Lincolnshire Co-op shop on Burton Road last week.
As previously reported, a male was arrested after the robbery which happened just after 7am on Friday, November 9.
It is believed cash was taken and staff were threatened, police said.
At the time police said a man matching the description given to officers was seen heading towards the train station just after 8am, where he was stopped and detained on suspicion of robbery.
Lincolnshire Police has now issued an update about the incident, with a spokesperson saying: “A 16-year-old youth has been charged with robbery and possession of an offensive weapon.”
