Witness appeal: Elderly pedestrian killed in Grimsby crash

A 70-year-old man has died from his injuries

A 70-year-old man who was hit by a car in Grimsby has died from his injuries.

The crash happened at around 9.45am on Tuesday, November 20 on Victor Street.

The man has been in hospital receiving treatment for his injuries in the time since.

Humberside Police said they are supporting the man’s family.

A spokesperson for the force said: “Our enquiries are continuing. We are renewing our appeal to find a woman wearing a blue jacket who was crossing Victor Street in Grimsby around the time of the collision. She may have important information that could help us.

“If you are that woman or know who she may be, please contact us quoting log 104 of 20/11/18. A CCTV image is available below.”

No-one has been arrested in connection with this incident.
