A woman in her 70s has died after a serious crash near Bourne on Monday.
As previously reported, police closed a section of the A15 after a crash at the junction of the B1177 involving an Audi A3 and a Mini Cooper at 10.55am on Monday, December 17.
An air ambulance attended the scene before police announced this afternoon that the driver of the Mini Cooper has died.
The road was closed for some time in both directions from Haconby Crossroads to south of Morton.
Any witnesses to the crash should contact police on 101 quoting incident 145 of December 17.

Lincolnshire Police have found the body of a missing Lincoln boy.
The force appealed at around 4pm on Sunday, April 11, to find Daniel Coupland, 16, from Lincoln, after he went missing.
At 9.30pm police said that a body has been found, which has been identified as the missing boy.
In a statement, Lincolnshire Police said: “We would like to sincerely thank the media and the public for their support with this appeal and request that the family be given time to process this devastating news without intrusion or speculation.”
