The grand opening of a new children’s fashion boutique coming to Lincoln will take place next week.
As previously reported, Cheeky Monkeys children’s boutique will open on Guildhall Street this month in the unit formerly occupied by Charles Clinkard shoe shop.
The boutique is a one stop shop for kids, currently selling boys and girls fashion from newborn to 14-years-olds via its shop in Retford and website.
Its second store will open in Lincoln on Saturday, February 23.
The company has employed six staff (both part-time and full-time) to work in the Lincoln store.

This includes fully trained shoe fitters who will work upstairs in the shoe department. The shop will sell shoe brands including Lelli Kelly, Start Rite and Geox.
Around £40,000 has been invested in the store. Investment has also been made on a new website.
The company sells a selection of designer brands, clothing ranges, shoes, toys and gifts, which have been hand picked to offer both style and value for money.
Helen Tonge, Owner of Cheeky Monkeys, told The Lincolnite: “We are looking to expand was we are doing well. We wanted to be far enough away from Retford, but close enough to manage.
“We felt there was a gap in Lincolnshire for independent children’s wear and we wanted to offer something more exclusive to people. Quality products at an affordable price.
“The shopping experience and service should be exciting. It will have a magical look and wow factor.”

The new shop will see Helen back in the building she traded in under Janel Shoes between 1999-2012.
She is looking forward to re-opening the Cheeky Monkeys shop in the same unit nearly 20 years to the day since Janel opened.
