Cyclist dies after Grimsby crash

Specialist police teams investigated the incident

A male cyclist has died after a crash between a bike and a car in Grimsby on Sunday.

Humberside Police were called to Duncombe Street in Grimsby by ambulance crews shortly before 10.05am on Sunday, March 24.

The crash involved a bike and a red Peugeot 2008 GT.

The cyclist, who has not yet been identified, was taken to the Diana Princess of Wales Hospital where he died.

The road remained closed between the junctions with Freeman Street, Werneth Road and Albion Street whilst Humberside Police’s specialist teams investigated the circumstances of the incident.
