Two hospitalised after Lincoln A46 crash

Two cars were involved

Two people have been taken to hospital after a crash on the A46 near Thorpe on the Hill this morning.

As previously reported, drivers faced huge delays as two cars crashed on the busy Lincoln road.

Lincolnshire Police closed off one lane at around 8am on Wednesday, March 13 while they waited for vehicle recovery.

A purple Citreon C4 and a white Renault Kangoo were both involved in the crash, which blocked the northbound lane.

“Both drivers were taken to hospital,” a spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said. “They were taken in with injuries described as minor.

“The vehicle are being recovered so we expect the road to be back to normal shortly.”
