Lincoln takeaway’s food hygiene slashed to 1/5

A takeaway in Lincoln has seen its food hygiene rating fall from four to one after a recent inspection.

King Kebab on Clasketgate was visited by council inspectors on February 27. Major improvement is deemed to be required in the management of food safety.

Improvement was also deemed necessary in both the hygienic handling of food and the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building.

In February 2017 King Kebab was given a higher star rating of four.

The Lincolnite contacted the takeaway for a response and were told that a manager/owner would respond later.
