A man has died on the beach in Skegness in the early hours of Sunday.

Police were called to reports of an unresponsive man on the beach at Grand Parade in Skegness at 5.40am on April 14.

The man has died, police confirmed.

The death is being treated as unexplained at this time.

Whilst it may be a medical episode, police are working to establish if there are any possible suspicious circumstances.

Officers are appealing for anyone who saw anything relevant at this time in this area to call 101 quoting incident 94 of April 14.
