Victoria Atkins on Question Time this week

The Lincolnshire MP is on the panel

Lincolnshire MP Victoria Atkins will feature on Question Time on Thursday evening.

Atkins, who is the current Conservative crime minister, will join the BBC Question Time panel at 10.35pm on Thursday, April 25.

The show will be broadcast from Nottingham on BBC One and BBC Radio 5Live.

The panel also includes Labour’s Jon Ashworth, Lib Dem leader Vince Cable, Green Party MP Caroline Lucas and actor John Rhys-Davies.

Atkins, who was first elected as an MP for Louth and Horncastle in the May 2015 general election, could get quizzed on the latest figures for crime in England and Wales which were released on Thursday.

Lincolnshire Police is blaming a lack of resources on a 20% increase in total recorded crime and 70% spike in violent crime after the release of new data.

In January 2019 BBC Question Time was broadcast from Lincoln’s Drill Hall. It was the fourth time it has been filmed at the charity-run arts centre.
