Former police sergeant “lied” on constable application form

A special hearing has been scheduled

A former Special Sergeant allegedly lied on an application form to become a Constable with Lincolnshire Police.

A special case hearing will be held on Friday, May 31 to look into allegations that Andrew Davies, who was previously based in Lincoln, lied on an application form whilst serving as a Special Sergeant on September 2, 2018.

If proven, this would breach standards of professional behaviour relating to Honesty and Integrity and Discreditable Conduct.

The hearing will take place at Lincolnshire Police Headquarters in Nettleham.
