Ingoldmells murder victim named by police

A man is due in court on Friday

A 64-year-old woman who died at a caravan park in Ingoldmells has been named by police investigating suspected murder.

As previously reported, emergency services were called to Summerlands Caravan Park at around 10pm on Wednesday, May 29.

A woman was found with serious injures and was treated at the scene by the ambulance crew, but died a short time later.

The woman has since been named as Linda Treeby from Nottingham.

Andrew Highton, 50, of Highbury Road in Nottingham was charged with murder. He is due to appear at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court during the afternoon of May 31.

Police previously said that a Home Office post mortem will be carried out on Friday, May 31 to establish the cause of death.
