Thousands in cash and Rolex stolen in knifepoint alleyway robbery

Three men with blades attacked the victim

A man was reportedly robbed of a luxury Rolex watch, gold jewellery and thousands of pounds in cash and threatened with blades by three men in a Scunthorpe alleyway.

The robbery happened in the alley behind The Tavern pub in the town centre at 10am on Tuesday, May 14.

Nearly three thousand pounds which was in a grey bag, an 18 carat gold Rolex watch with a white face, a gold round link belcher chain and a gold ID bracelet were taken.

Humberside Police said: “We are looking for three men in connection with this.

“The victim has described the suspects as between 20 and 30-years-old, and all wearing dark tracksuits and light coloured trainers.

“They all had their faces covered and were holding what have been described as blades. None of them had local accents.

“Did you see anything that morning? Do you have any information that could help?”
