Drivers on three busy roads in Lincoln and the surrounding areas will face weeks of disruption from this Friday as part of the Lincoln Eastern Bypass Project.

A list of twelve weekend-long road closures will take place on Lincoln Road from Friday, June 21. They will be in place from Friday at 7pm until Monday at 6am.

September 13-16
These closures will allow contractors to carry out earthworks, kerbing, street lighting and other essential construction works along the road ahead of starting construction of the new bypass roundabout.
The diversion route for the closures will be via South Park Avenue & South Park/St Catherines/A15/B1178/B1188, and vice versa.
A three-week long 24-hour closure of Hawthorn Road will start on Monday, June 24, to allow for a utilities diversion along the road.
The diversion route for the closure will be via Wragby Road/Outer Circle Road/Greetwell Road/Church Lane, and vice versa.
A1500 Tillbridge Lane, Sturton-by-Stow
Improvement works to replace worn out carriageway on A1500 Tillbridge Lane will start on Monday, June 24.
The total programme of works is expected to last for six weeks. It will be carried out in phases with closures in place from 7pm to 6am, Monday to Friday.
The signed diversion for the A1500 closure will be via A15/A46/A57/A156, and vice versa.
Phase One – 3-4 evenings during the week commencing June 24. Road closure between B1241 (Saxilby Road) and Thorpe Lane from 7pm to 6am (no works after midnight). In addition to the A1500 diversion route, a diversion for the B1241 Saxilby Road will also be in place via B1241/A57/A156, and vice versa
Phase Two – 3-4 evenings during week commencing June 24 and July 1. Road closure between B1241 (High Street) and Larners Field from 7pm to 6am (no works after midnight). In addition to the A1500 diversion route, a diversion for the B1241 High Street will also be in place via A156/B1241, and vice versa
Phase Three – Up to five weeks starting week commencing July 1. Road closure between Stow Park Road and Larners Fields including closure of Mill Lane from 7pm to 6am.
