A popular hamburger diner north of Lincoln will close later this summer.
Meat Inc. on Caenby Corner describes itself as ‘a modern twist on the classic diner and passionate about burgers’.
The business announced on social media that “with a very heavy heart” it will close its doors for the final time on Sunday, July 28. The announcement has already had over 1.7k comments from shocked customers.
At the time of writing it is not yet known if there are any plans to re-open in another location.
In a statement on its Facebook page Meat Inc said: “We have been made aware that alternative plans are afoot for our site and we are powerless to stop these under the terms of our lease.
“The news has been very unsettling for the team and we therefore took the difficult decision to close in seven weeks time, on our terms, with our heads held high!
“We wish to thank each and every one of you for your fantastic support. It has been quite a journey. Hopefully we will see you all again for one last feed. Thank you from team Meat Inc.”
