First look at new Skegness high wire adventure

It is promised to be the tallest high wire course in the whole of the country

A new urban high wire adventure and café for Skegness is taking shape.

The seaside attraction, called Altitude 44, is promised to be the tallest high wire course in the whole of the country.

It promised to help “bring life and vitality to the area” when the planning application was submitted to the local council in June last year.

Diggers moved in to built the 21-metre high structure in the Grand Parade of the town.

The current refreshment kiosk next to the outdoor pool will be removed and replaced by a new cafe.

Café Magna will specialise in authentic stone baked pizza and will also serve Costa Coffee.

The total investment for the two new developments is over £1 million.

It has a provisional opening date of late July or early August. People can register their early interest in booking by emailing [email protected].
