Man’s body pulled from river

Police are appealing for help to identify the body

The body of a man has been found in the River Nene, close to the Lincolnshire border.

Cambridgeshire Police are appealing for help to identify the body which was discovered in the river in the Wisbech area on Friday, June 7. The discovery was reported to police just after 8am that morning.

The death is not being treated as suspicious and the case has been passed to the coroner.

Cambridgeshire Police described the man as having cropped, dark hair. He was wearing a black long sleeved top, dark jeans and a distinctive black belt with a silver buckle, which had ‘EE’ in the pattern.
