Oops! Police catch man who commented on his wanted appeal

He was taken into police custody

A 36-year-old man from Cleethorpes was caught after his social media posts on his own wanted appeal helped police track him down.

As previously reported, Nathan Baker, 36, was wanted by police over alleged threats to kill and possession of drugs.

Humberside Police have since confirmed that Baker is now in custody as a direct result of his own social media posts.

The posts on his own wanted appeal helped police track him down to the Goxhill area.

Detective Inspector Kerry Bull said: “I’d also like to thank everyone who got in touch with information in relation to our appeal. Your help is always appreciated and can make a real difference to our investigations.”
