Man bailed after woman injured in violent Lincoln robbery

A woman sustained multiple injuries

A 36-year-old man has been released on bail after a woman was violently robbed outside a fire station in Lincoln.

As previously reported, a woman in her 30s sustained injuries to her face, neck and the back of her head when she was attacked outside Lincoln North Fire Station on Nettleham Road at 12.05am on Thursday, July 11. The woman also had her bag stolen.

It is believed that a man riding a pushbike and a woman were the attackers.

The assault is believed to have momentarily stopped when a vehicle passed by. Police are looking for the driver, who might have witnessed the robbery.

A man was previously arrested in connection with this incident, who has now been released on bail.
