Teen in court over Lincoln stabbing

He has been charged with wounding with intent

A 17-year-old has been charged by the police and will be in court after a stabbing at St Benedict’s Square.

The teenager will be in Lincoln Magistrate’s Court on Thursday morning charged with wounding with intent.

He cannot be named for legal reasons.

He is the fourth person to be arrested after a man was found with stab wounds just before 2 am on Sunday, July 21.

The victim suffered serious injuries, which are believed to have been caused by a broken bottle.

Lincolnshire Police arrested three other people, who were all released on bail.

Two of the three were arrested on the scene on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.
