Lincoln Street Food Festival returns this month

Plenty delicious treats to try

Get ready to whet your appetite with an array of delicious food from around the world when Lincoln Street Food Festival returns to the city later this month.

Lincoln BIG has teamed up with Market Place Europe to stage the event, which will take place between Thursday to Sunday, September 19-22. It will be open 9am-8pm on Thursday to Saturday and 10am-5pm on Sunday.

The festival will serve a selection of delicious continental and international foods, including Spanish, Greek, Chinese, Mexican and exotic street foods.

There will also be traditional favourites such as a hog roast and a selection of fresh foods, including olives, cheese, breads, cakes and sweets.

A Continental Street Bar will be located in the Cornhill with a variety of continental beers.

Andy Pidgen, Market Place Europe’s Operations Manager, said: “The people of Lincoln always give us a warm welcome to their fantastic city and this is our final visit to the City this season, so we urge them to make sure to pay us a visit in the High Street.

“We have some fantastic traders joining us again and there will definitely be something for everyone to enjoy at this fantastic family friendly event.”

“It brings a welcome feast of colour and tastes for the senses for everyone, following the return to school and work after the Summer holidays.”
