Cathedral to host special service in memory of baby losses

It will offer support and space for remembrance

A special service for people who have lost a child before birth or in infancy will be held at Lincoln Cathedral later this month.

‘A Time to Remember’ will offer support and space for remembrance and people of every faith or none are welcome to attend.

It will take place at 2pm on Sunday, October 13 during Baby Loss Awareness Week, which is now in its 17th year.

The service will also help raise awareness of the range of support that is available for families and friends to help them navigate their grief.

Thousands of people experience the loss of a baby in pregnancy, at or soon after birth, and in infancy every year.

The annual awareness week, which runs from October 9-15 every year, is an opportunity for bereaved parents, families and friends to commemorate babies’ lives and break the silence around pregnancy and baby loss in the UK.
