Men distract staff in two Lincolnshire thefts on the same day

Police want to speak with these men

Two men were allegedly involved in two distraction thefts in Lincolnshire on the same day, prompting police to release a second CCTV appeal.

As previously reported, two men entered the Cafe on Cobbles in Alford Market Place on October 11, where they asked for different denominations of change before leaving with an extra £120.

Police released an appeal on Tuesday about another incident of distraction theft in Lincolnshire.

The force said they have a report of the two men involved in the theft of cigarettes and vape accessories from Co-op in Wainfleet on the same day (October 11).

Police would like to speak with these men in connection with these offences.

One of the males is described as in his late 20s, around five foot eight, of a stocky build and wearing a baseball cap backwards. The other male is described as mid-to-late 20s, around five foot eight, and was wearing a puffer style jacket.
