The weather is also affecting some trains in the area, with journeys between Sheffield and Gainsborough/Lincoln running at reduced speeds and there is a chance of some cancellations.

Flood warnings & alerts
Fifteen flood warnings affecting Lincolnshire are currently in place, including the River Slea and Ninefoot River in Sleaford. Heavy rain has fallen in the Slea catchment and is expected to continue throughout Friday.

There are currently train delays and cancellations across part of South Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and Humberside due to flooding at Kiveton Bridge and Kirk Sandall.
According to Northern, the following routes including Lincolnshire are affected:
Sheffield-Gainsborough/Lincoln – services are now running again but at reduced speeds, with delays and cancellations likely
Doncaster-Scunthorpe – services will run via Skellow and will not call at Kirk Sandall
