Elderly woman hit by car on Lincoln High Street

The injuries are not believed to be life threatening

Emergency services rushed to the scene after an elderly woman was hit by a car on Lincoln High Street on Friday morning.

Lincolnshire Police were called to a collision involving a Vauxhall Corsa and a pedestrian on the High Street near Tesco Express and the junction with Tentercroft Street at 9.53am on Friday, November 1.

A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said: “A woman in hers 70s has received a serious injury, not believed to be life threatening.”

Police officers remained at the scene following the collision.

It is not believed that anyone else was hurt and the road remains open at the time of writing.
