Man suffers fractured cheekbone in assault near Cleethorpes bar

He was hit on the face while he was on the phone

A man was hit in the side of the face while he was on the phone during an alleged assault in Cleethorpes, leaving him with a fractured cheekbone.

The incident happened near the Zero Degrees North bar on the High Street between 3am and 4am on Saturday, October 26.

Humberside Police are looking for a man in connection with the incident and the force published an appeal for witnesses on Tuesday, November 12.

The man they are looking for is described as white, around 25-years-old, five foot seven inches tall and with short brown hair. He was wearing a burgundy t-shirt and dark jeans.

Police did not specify whether he was a suspect or a witness.
