Heavy rain will be back on its way to Lincoln and other areas of the county after the Met Office issued a yellow weather warning on Tuesday.
The yellow warning for rain will be in place between 6am on Thursday, November 7 until the same time on Friday, November 8.
The prolonged rain through Thursday and overnight into Friday may bring disruption from flooding.
There may also be some heavy showers on Tuesday, November 5, but it looks like there will at least be sunny spells on Wednesday.
The Met Office has advised to expect the following during the weather warning period:
- Small chance that homes and businesses could be flooded, causing damage to some buildings
- Where flooding occurs, there is a slight chance of delays or cancellations to train and bus services
- Spray and flooding could lead to difficult driving conditions and some road closures
- There is a small chance that some communities become cut off by flooded roads
Heavy rain at the end of October saw rivers in Lincoln swell and spill into a number of streets, causing many to fear for their properties and at least one car was submerged in floodwater.
