Service providers have warned people travelling on the morning of Tuesday, November 5 that trains are unable to call at Grantham Station.
Disruption is expected to continue until 1pm.
At the time of writing, the following routes are affected:
East Midlands Railway Liverpool-Nottingham-Norwich
Nottingham- Skegness
Grand Central between Sunderland-Bradford Forster Square and London Kings Cross
Hull Trains between Hull and London Kings Cross
LNER between Harrogate-Hull-York-Leeds-Lincoln and London Kings Cross
Travel advice from National Rail reads: “The emergency services are dealing with an incident near Grantham which is causing disruption to journeys between these stations. “Services may be cancelled, delayed or diverted.
“We anticipate disruption will continue until 1pm.”
