An elderly woman was pushed over and needed medical attention after an alleged callous burglary in Lincoln.
A man knocked on the door of an address in Barkston Gardens at around 2.20pm on Wednesday, November 27. When the woman in her 80s answered the door, she was told he wanted to look at her water pipes.
The man forced his way inside the house and the woman has been pushed over as a result. She later received medical attention.
The offender searched the premises and left with an amount of money.
He is described as being white, between 5’4 to 5’6 tall, with dark hair and rough looking. He is clean shaven and was wearing a khaki brown knee length rain coat.
