Man dies in A15 car crash with lorry

Volvo driver died at the scene

A man has died after his car crashed with a lorry on the A15 on Tuesday morning.

It happened just after 6am when a white Volvo XC60 crashed with a white Mercedes-Benz articulated lorry at Cranwell.

The driver of the Volvo, a 27-year-old man from the Sleaford area, died at the scene.

The driver of the lorry was unhurt.

A section of the road between was closed for a time while emergency services attended and recovery of the vehicles took place.

Investigators would like to speak to anyone who saw the collision, the vehicles in the minutes before the crash, or who has dashcam footage to contact them.

They are particularly keen for anyone who was driving from Holdingham towards Lincoln and has dashcam footage to get in touch.
