Man living in tent hospitalised after Grimsby attack

He suffered multiple injuries

A man living in a tent was hospitalised after allegedly being assaulted with a blunt instrument by two men in Grimsby.

The incident happened at around 8.30pm on Monday, December 9 off Garden Street behind the Iceland supermarket.

Humberside Police said it left the man with injuries to his head, arms and back. He was treated in hospital and has since been discharged.

According to Cleethorpes News 24, after the attack the injured man is believed to have made his way to McDonald’s in Victoria Street with the help of others, where emergency services were called.
