Charity shop worker assaulted as he challenges Lincoln thief

The worker was injured when he chased the thief

A charity shop worker was assaulted when he gave chase to a gadget thief in Lincoln city centre.

Police are looking for a man pictured on CCTV in the area in connection with the incident.

At around 2.30pm on Sunday, January 26, three men entered Mind Charity Shop in Lincoln High Street.

Two of the men distracted the staff while the third man took a Tablet from underneath the shop counter.

All three men left the store, one was on a bike.

A man on a bike was located nearby and challenged by a staff member from Mind who recovered the Tablet.

The staff member was then assaulted and left with injuries to his face and hands.

Lincolnshire Police are looking to identify the man in the image.
