Emergency crews have been called to a serious incident involving a worker at a building site in Lincoln.
Rudgard Lane off West Parade has been shut while emergency services carry out a rescue operation.
A subcontractor on a Lindum building site has been injured.
According to reports, a man from Melfort Construction in Chesterfield has become trapped under a digger. This has not been officially confirmed at the time of reporting.
A reporter at the scene said an overturned digger can be seen in the centre of the site. The area has been taped off and officers are beginning to put covers over the railings of the site while investigations begin.

Eyewitness Becca Ransome told The Lincolnite two fire engines, an ambulance and police were in attendance at the site on Rudgard Lane.
She said all staff were being refused entry into the site by police and fire officers and have been escorted into an office.

A spokesperson for EMAS said: “We received a call at 10.43am on January 9 to Rudgard Lane in Lincoln. The caller reported a medical emergency.
“We sent a doctor in a car and two paramedics in fast response cars.”
Lincolnshire Fire & Rescue said it is an ongoing rescue incident being led by police. A crew from Lincoln South is currently at the scene.
The Lincolnite also contacted Lincolnshire Police, but there was no reply by the time of publication.
