Found: Man missing for two months spotted in Horncastle

Police are appealing for information to help find him

Update, January 8: Lincolnshire Police said David has been found safe and well. They thanked members of the public for their help tracing him.


A 47-year-old man from Kettering, who has been missing for two months, is now believed to be in Lincolnshire after being spotted in a Horncastle bar.

David Calder was previously last seen in the Kettering area on October 28. Lincolnshire Police have now released a CCTV image of a man they believe to be David, which was captured in Harpers Bar in Horncastle on New Year’s Eve.

Police also believe that David was driving a silver Peugeot 307 saloon with the registration KN52ERO.

David is described as white, five foot six inches tall, and of heavy build with short dark grey or balding hair. He also has tattoos on both forearms.

David is asked to make contact with his family or police to confirm he is safe and well.

It was previously a Northamptonshire investigation, but has been passed onto Lincolnshire Police following information suggesting he is in the county. Anyone with information, or who has seen David, should call Lincolnshire Police on 101 quoting his name.
