Body shaping studio for women opens in South Hykeham

Their motto: “Work smarter, not harder”

A global body shaping concept from Poland has launched in South Hykeham, claiming it can offer women special devices and treatment to lose weight ‘faster than other methods’.

Studio Figura, owned by Izabella Michalak, has over 800 studios all over the world, including in Australia, USA and New Zealand, with the body shaping concept running for around 14 years.

Husband and wife team Patryk and Aleksandra Sluzalek opened Studio Figura South Hykeham at Gateway Court on Dankerwood Road in December, with a motto of “work smarter, not harder”.

It is different from a regular gym with the women-only studio having three separate zones available – fitness, wellness and aesthetic cosmetology.

The specialist equipment at the studio is based on new technology where the team use collagen lamps, infrared lights and under pressure devices to “help women achieve their dream shape”.

An individual consultation and the first training is free. The team will then pick the right devices and treatment and offer the best solution for each customer.

Prices start from £15 per device, but cheaper options can be available through packages which can be discussed with staff at the studio.

The studio has four employees, including owner Aleksandra Sluzalek and Sylwia Mikula.

Sylwia told The Lincolnite: “It has been very good so far and we have been busy. It is getting busier every day and we are excited for our Saturday open day. We can’t wait for when all of Lincoln and other towns will know about us and can come and check us out.”

Special devices and treatment

Swan Infra Shaper is a combination of an infra red lamp and a collagen lamp. It’s said to give a reconstruction of collagen fibres and regeneration of the upper skin layer.

The VacuShape treadmill combines the classic treadmill and exercise under pressure to improve blood circulation and clean the body from toxins quicker.

The company also claims it helps the user to lose weight four times faster than a classic treadmill.

The Massage Roll Shaper includes infra red lamps. It’s said to stimulate lymphs in the body so it can remove toxins much quicker than a manual massage.

Studio open day

The studio will hold an open day event between 10am-6pm on Saturday, January 11, where people can try out the different zones and devices for free.

Beauty and aesthetic treatments will be around 50% off on the day.
