Second body pulled from Boston river

Police believe it is not connected to the ongoing murder investigation

Police have pulled a second body out of a river in Boston in just under a week, but officials believe the incident to be unrelated to an ongoing murder investigation.

Lincolnshire Police officers are now patrolling Haven Bank footpath and said they cannot formally identify the second man at the time of publishing.

A spokesperson said:

“This is not being treated as a suspicious death.

“It is not connected with the ongoing murder investigation.”

Officers opened a murder probe earlier this week when a man was thrown into the water after a “sustained attack”.
