Woman who died at Skegness hotel named locally

A woman who died at a Skegness hotel has been named locally as tributes continue to pour in from friends and family.

Renata Stewart has been named as the 39-year-old woman who was found dead at the Links Hotel in Skegness at 5.15pm on Tuesday, January 21.

As previously reported, Lincolnshire Police no longer believe that she was murdered and released a 43-year-old man without further action.

Many have shared their tributes and memories of Renata Stewart online, with Warren Cadman writing: “I can’t believe you’re gone, mum.

“The fact that I will never be able to see you again, tell you that I love you, hear your laugh or see your smile is the worst feeling in the world.

“I am going to miss you more than anything, you have been taken way too soon. Thank you for everything, I will see you again one day.

“Until then, fly high beautiful. I love you so much.”

Logan Evans added: “I loved your mum so much. You know she will be proud of you.”

The Links Hotel put up its own tribute and said that staff had put flowers just outside of the room where Renata Stewart was staying.

Charlotte Collins said: “So sorry to hear. Thinking of you all. What a beautiful and kind woman, she will be proud of you. RIP.”
