Concerns grow for missing North Cotes man

Have you seen John?

Police say they are still very concerned for the welfare of a 56-year-old man missing from North Cotes, who they believe may have changed his hairstyle since his disappearance.

John Carl Davis was last seen on January 29 on Bethlehem Street in Grimsby, close to Freshney Place Shopping Centre, before police later found his car in the Hartwell Ford area of the town two days later.

Humberside Police and Lincolnshire Police are both working on the case, with the latter again taking primacy for the search. Police previously said it is believed that John is in the Grimsby area and to report any sightings to them.

Humberside Police added that there have been two sightings of John – one by someone who saw him near the war memorial Holton le Clay at around 9pm on January 29. The second was an unconfirmed sighting on the Peaks Parkway in Grimsby at around 5pm on Sunday, February 2.

Anyone with information or sightings of John should call police quoting the relevant incident numbers 175 of January 30 (Lincolnshire Police) and log 86 of January 31 (Humberside Police).
