New cafe bar opens at Lincoln country park

Potterhanworth country park now has a cafe bar

Hanworth Country Park in Potterhanworth has opened the first phase of its 42 acre site, the Brewers cafe-bar.

The new venue opened on Friday and serves coffee, drinks, home cooked breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days a week.

Owners John Blades and Steven Plumb recently had a private opening with friends, family and local suppliers to celebrate the opening of Brewers and the progress of the £1.3 million project.

The bar takes the family name of Stephen on his mother’s side and the entire project has a friendly and family feel to it.

Children are welcomed until 9pm each day.

Hanworth Country Park is already home to established fishing lakes and gained planning permission for its touring caravan pitches, shepherds huts, statics, glamping pods and luxury lodges in 2018.

There are shepherds huts, statics, glamping pods at the park near Lincoln.

The site is now also home to 3,000 newly planted trees, and is proud to be part of the Spires & Steeples walking route.
