Post Office services will return to Cherry Willingham, for two hours a week

A big boost for the village

A partial Post Office service will return to a village near Lincoln from next month.

Post Office Ltd will provide a hosted outreach service from Thursday, March 5 at The Vine Community Church, which is located at The Parade in Cherry Willingham.

The service will be provided by the Postmaster for Reepham every Thursday between 2.30pm-4.30pm.

This will restore a temporary service whilst the Post Office continues to look for a permanent solution.

The previous branch, which was located at 4 Croft Lane in Cherry Willingham, initially closed temporarily in March 2018 due to the resignation of the Postmaster and the withdrawal of premises for Post Office use.

Allison Wallace, Post Office Area Network Change Manager, said: “We are pleased that the Postmaster for Reepham can provide this service for Cherry Willingham whilst we continue to look for a permanent solution. We know that the community will welcome this news.”
