If you live in Scunthorpe, Grimsby and Cleethorpes you’re in luck, as they are the only Lincolnshire towns selling the McDonald’s £2.39 triple cheeseburger.
McDonald’s started a trial of the three patty delight at only 60 of its 1,200 plus restaurants across the UK on Thursday, February 27, but prices may vary in different branches.
The 520 calorie triple cheeseburger is made with three 100% pure beef patties, seasoned with a pinch of salt and pepper and topped with tangy pickles, chopped onions, ketchup, mustard, and two slices of melted American cheese.
If the trial proves popular, the triple cheeseburger could be rolled out nationwide later this year.

But, despite the looming threat, there is a prevailing sense of confidence among the community, suggesting that further flooding is unlikely.
News that a £165,000 improvement project on the Handley Monument in Sleaford will commence early next year has been supported by local residents, who feel it is a much needed addition to the town centre, but it hasn’t come without its fair share of criticism.
North Kesteven District Council unveiled its plans for the historic Handley Monument in Sleaford, with a view to improving the surrounding area and also lighting up the monument to attract more attention to its role in the town’s history.
