Bear necessities: Lincoln park characters ‘protected’ from coronavirus

They haven’t been left bear in their COVID-19 battle!

Maybe it was Goldilocks? Three iconic wooden bear statues in Lincoln have been lovingly provided with masks to protect them from the ongoing coronavirus outbreak.

The bears are situated at Birchwood Nature Park near Doddington roundabout in Lincoln and have been spotted by amused walkers.

This light-hearted spin on the current pandemic appeared to have materialised last night, and you have to admit it’s very thoughtful!

After seeing this, you have to wonder if they’ve been observing Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s social distancing rules in the meantime?
