Death off Burton Road no longer treated as murder

They have released three people under investigation

Police investigating the death of a Lincoln man no longer believe that he was murdered.

As previously reported, a man was found dead on Albany Street, off Burton Road, shortly before 1pm on Wednesday, February 26.

Three men aged 30, 33, and 37 were arrested on suspicion of murder and a scene guard was put in place at the property.

Now Lincolnshire Police said officers have ruled out murder and are treating the death as ‘unexplained’.

They have released the three men they arrested under investigation.

Police have not released any details about the victim and have not made any further arrests while they continue their enquiries.
