Lincolnshire coronavirus cancellations and disruption

Cancelled events in the county

A number of events have been cancelled in the county as businesses and organisations take measures to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

As of Thursday, March 12, there were 590 coronavirus cases in the UK and a total of 10 people had died.

Two cases of coronavirus have been officially confirmed in Greater Lincolnshire, with a further regional update on local patients expected on Friday, March 13.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson said, other than in specific cases, there are no plans yet to close schools in the country. He warned this is “the worst public health crisis for a generation” and that “many more families are going to lose loved ones before their time.”

Event cancellations in Lincolnshire will be posted below as and when they are known to us. The main coronavirus coverage liveblog is here.
